Touch of Class Review
Touch of Class sells unique furniture and home decor items that are similar to those offered by Wisteria and Home Decorator's Collection. While some stores limit their inventory to reflect popular trends, at Touch of Class you will find a wide assortment of styles and color palettes, including one-of-a-kind items exclusive to Touch of Class. You select the style and colors that create a "home like no other" for you and your family. You can shop Touch of Class by catalog or online, or, if you live in southern Indiana or if you take a drive there, you can visit the two Touch of Class catalog outlet stores in person. They are located in downtown Huntingburg, Indiana.
If you do visit the outlet stores, there is a chance you could meet the owners. Touch of Class is a family-owned and operated business. Fred Bell and Carla Parke-Bell started Touch of Class in the basement of their home in North Conway, NH as a catalog business shortly after they married in 1978, but the business outgrew the basement after a few short years. In 1982, the couple moved to Huntingburg, near Carla's hometown of Oakland City, IN. Carla's brother and sister, Ron and Donna, have worked for the company, and Carla's nephew, Jason, has designed products and worked on the website. Fred's sons, Gary and Donald; his daughter, Becky; and Becky’s husband, Rick have worked in management. Fred's nephew, Eric, has served as the staff photographer, and a number of Fred's grandchildren have worked in the customer service call center during summer vacations while they were in school.
