How to Redeem a Coupon Code at Ralphs
Ralphs does not have a checkout page on its site. Since you cannot order groceries through the site, it does not have a place to enter a coupon code. That doesn't mean that you can't save on your groceries, though. If you have a loyalty card, which you can sign up for online or in a local Ralphs supermarket, you can link that card to an account you create online. Once you log in, you can view all available coupons. Click on any coupon to automatically add it to your card. When you check out in the supermarket and purchase those same items, the register will apply those coupons when the cashier scans your card. You can also check the Savings Center to see about special prices and sales going on in your area. Entering your zip code will let you select the ad circular valid in your area. This ad, which you can view online, will show you all the current savings you can take advantage of as well as the dates for the sale.
Ralphs is a supermarket chain that has its headquarters in California. It is similar to other grocery store chains like Foods Co. and Grocery Outlet. George Albert Ralphs founded the chain in 1873 when he opened a single shop in Los Angeles. Ralphs introduced the idea of self-service to local shoppers. Instead of working with a shop owner who picked out items from behind the counters, customers could pick out their own items and pay at registers in the front of the store.
As the chain grew, it added a series of stores called The Giant. These stores offered bulk items and larger products. The warehouse stores later shut down, which led to the merger of Ralphs and Food 4 Less. Fred Meyer later purchased the chain. After Kroger merged with Fred Meyer, Ralphs came under the ownership of Kroger. Despite its new ownership, there are still more than 200 Ralphs supermarkets operating in southern California.
These grocery stores now offer a wide range of services to help shoppers get everything they need in one convenient stop. Many stores have coin counting kiosks. You can enter your spare change in one of these machines and get your cash from any open register. The kiosks also let you exchange your money for gift cards to popular stores, websites, and restaurants. You can also purchase gift cards and phone cards from most stores. Western Union has stations located at many of its customer service desks and enables customers to send and receive money and purchase money orders. Some even sell pay as you go cell phones.
Ralphs features clean lines and open spaces that let you focus on your shopping. Each store has a simple layout with various departments on-site. Each of those departments sells products like health and beauty supplies, fresh produce, meats, dairy products, canned goods, and frozen foods. Your local store may have a section devoted to books and magazines as well as a floral department.
The Ralphs website lets you find a convenient supermarket near your home and order products from that grocery store online. ClickList is free for all customers with a registered online account to use. After logging into your account, you can create a list of items you want from the store. You then select the store you want to buy from and both your pickup time and date. The store will pull those groceries for you and have your order waiting when you arrive. You can even link your loyalty card and use digital coupons with your order.
The deli and bakery department also has an online ordering option. This department offers a number of party platters, including those that come loaded with meats and cheeses, sushi, cheese, or even fresh fruits and vegetables. You can order specialty gift baskets that come with meats and cheeses from select companies, too. The site lets you order cakes, baked or fried chicken, and side dishes, too. While you have the option of ordering licensed cakes and special occasion cakes, you can also custom design a cake based on your preferences and the number of people attending your event.
Ralphs shoppers can sign up for the company's free loyalty program and earn points each time they make a purchase. Those points help you save at the pump. Shop Happy: Go Further with Fuel Points is a video from Ralphs that shows you how you can save.
You should also visit the promotions area of the website to find out about contests and promotions that you can enter for free. Some of these promotions give you free samples and full products just for shopping in your local store on a specific day of the week. The promotions section includes special events taking place in stores, too, such as classes that teach you how to make fun dishes at home.
Make sure you check out the digital coupons area, too. As long as you log into your account and have your card linked to that account, you can automatically add digital coupons that will work in the supermarket. Ralphs offers coupons on everything from cell phones and appliances to canned goods and frozen foods.
