How to Get a Refund on Groupon

The Groupon Promise is the refund policy for Groupon in case you have a bad experience with a merchant or bought a voucher by accident.

1. Groupon Local

Any unredeemed voucher may be returned to Groupon within the first three (3) days of purchase for a refund of the amount paid, after the 3 days no refund will be given and all sales are final.

2. Groupon Getaways

For hotels booked through the Groupon website you will need to read the fine print for each deal. If the merchant is unable to book the stay you want during the available dates before the book-by date, then Groupon will refund your purchase. If the book-by date passes & you haven’t booked your trip then the promotional value is no longer valid, but your voucher is still worth what you paid for it. You may use the paid value as a credit with the merchant.

3. Groupon Goods

You can return any item you purchased through Groupon Goods within fourteen (14) days of delivery unless the fine print says otherwise. After fourteen days of delivery of the goods, all items purchased through Groupon Goods are non-refundable and all sales are final.

4. GrouponLive Events

Groupon will not issue refunds after the day of purchase for ticketed events, except if an event is canceled or rescheduled. They have a separate GrouponLive Extraordinary Event Policy to follow for events that are canceled or rescheduled.
